"Hope for the Hurting:
Guideposts for Healing after an Abortion/Termination"
A manual for counsellors,
psychologists, therapists and pastors. This manual offers 14 Guideposts
through a psychospiritual process for journeying with women
towards
healing after an abortion/termination. It uses a holistic
person-centred approach. It is suitable for both professional and lay
support to provide insights into the sensitivity and needs of women
after such an experience. The programme can be adjusted to work with
men, grandparents or other family members or anyone impacted by an
abortion/termination. The process is also transferable to working with
any perinatal loss or birth trauma, other grief or trauma such as life
changes, bereavements, unemployment etc.
\The manual is available in Spiral Bound copy for $100NZ or PDF
version $75NZ
Orders may be made by emailing carolina@dawnings.co.nz Once
order is received an invoice will be emailed or sent. Confirmation of
order will be upon receipt of payment. Once payment received the copy
of the manual ordered will be sent.
"Guidelines for a
Therapeutic Support Group"
This
facilitator guidebook is aimed at those wishing to set up a support
group for those impacted by an abortion experience. It offers
suggestions in setting up groups, frameworkds for meetings including a
focus for each meeting and accompanying handouts. There is a one-off
payment which includes permission to copy handouts for a group. Each
new location or site e.g. church, community centre, for a support group
needs to have its own manual. There is a workbook available for
individuals attending a group (see below).
The facilitator guidebook is $150 with permission to copy the handouts
for a group at a single location or site.
Orders may be made by emailing carolina@dawnings.co.nz Once
order is received an invoice will be emailed or sent. Confirmation of
order will be upon receipt of payment. Once payment received the copy
of the facilitator guidebook ordered will be sent.
"A New Path - My Story - My
Healing Journey"
This is a workbook for
participants of a post abortion therapeutic support group and
accompanies the facilitator guidebook above. It is not recommended that
individuals go through this workbook without the support of an actual
support group or a counsellor. This workbook provides material the
journeys alongside the focus aspects of the support group guidebook. It
gives participants a personal place to express and work through aspects.
The workbook may be purchased separately by individuals of a group at
$35NZ a copy, or if a group
wishes to pay a one-off fee of $250NZ the workbook may be copied for
use with a
specific group. Again each location or site would need to have an
original
workbook.
Orders may be made by emailing carolina@dawnings.co.nz Once
order is received an invoice will be emailed or sent. Confirmation of
order will be upon receipt of payment. Once payment received the copy
of the workbook ordered will be sent.
